This policy explains what information Pink Pearl Nails & Beauty collects through this website and what we do with it.
What this website collects
This website has one form, “Request a time”. It has no accounts, online bookings or payments. Apart from that form, we do not ask you for personal information through the site.
When you request a time
If you use the “Request a time” form, we collect your first name, phone number, your email address if you give one, the services and times you are interested in, and anything you write in the notes. We use this only to reply to you and arrange your appointment. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell it or pass it to anyone else.
The form sends your request to us by email. If you give an email address, we send you a copy so you know it arrived. Please do not include health or other sensitive information in the notes.
To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is sending it. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device. The emails are delivered by an email service provider, Resend. We keep requests in our email for as long as we need them to manage your bookings.
When you call us
If you phone the salon to book, we may note your name, phone number and appointment details so we can manage your booking and contact you about it. We do not sell this information or pass it to anyone for marketing.
Analytics and cookies
This website does not use analytics and does not set cookies.
Hosting
Like most websites, the company that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, date and time, and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site secure and running.
Information held overseas
Our website host (Cloudflare) and our email delivery service (Resend) may store or process information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States and Japan.
Links to other sites
This site links to Google Maps for directions and reviews. Google has its own privacy policy, which applies once you leave our site.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, by contacting the salon.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
